Mike Millerthe family had not yet finished with her estranged husband. Far away from here.

We’ve been covering a tragic case out of South Carolina since we saw that truly awful video of Pastor John Paul “JP” Miller breaking news. The man’s wife had just died by suicide, and he sat at the pulpit in the middle of a sermon, sharing details that even the cops kept secret, let alone openly discussing her mental health history. Many took this as a suggestion and wondered if there was more going on, especially those who knew JP personally (which should tell you something!).

Unfortunately, this seems pretty final. Mica died by suicide. Thanks to surveillance footage, the cops have surprisingly extensive footage of her last day, including the moment she went to the pawn shop and bought the gun that killed her.

Related: Mica told her sister that if she got shot in the head, it would be her ex-partner

But that doesn’t mean the story is over. We learn more and more about the supposedly pious JP and what he has been doing to Mice over the years. First, he met her when she was just a 14-year-old member of his church. Apparently she was taking care of her for him – because he was already married and had five children. But eventually he left this wife and married her. If this sounds like maintenance to you, you’re not alone. Court records show he also tried to isolate her from her family. But after leaving him late last year, she reconnected with her family, as was made clear on her social media in the weeks before her death.

They are the ones running the #JusticeForMica campaign, which aims to at least show the world who JP really is and the horrors Mica went through. We have already seen evidence that he posted revenge porn of her on the Internet just days before his death. Disgusting. And now we find out more.

Mickey’s sister Sierra Francis shares what he can on the Internet, also on the weekend ICT Tok showing alleged text messages from JP. Messages left on Mica’s sister’s phone appear to provide detailed evidence of an incident that occurred in November 2022, during which Mica fled her husband to a safe place for her family, and he refused to come for her.

Even when his family told him no, he only said they were “leaving in three hours.” When he was told he would not be allowed to meet her, he threatened:

“I’m armed. I am ready”

Go Christian soldiers, eh? Terrible thing. He added, again with more than a hint of menace after the gun news:

“Mika Can Fix It All”

Sierra wrote about how JP threatened her with suicide – his own, not hers. Another classic harassment tactic. She explained that at this point they even called the police:

“The evidence is in the abuse. Police reports were filed when JP threatened his life, we conducted a health check. That’s when he got angry. Police stated that “when they arrived to conduct a wellness check, he was loading mica items into his truck. he stated that he did not have suicidal thoughts. #justiceformica.”

But it is not everything. In messages sent directly to Mika, you can see evidence of false suicide threats from “Honey Baby” on her phone:

“My blood is on you and my children will know it. It was enough to come. House. For me. But you wouldn’t do that. I’m done. All you had to do was love me enough to come home to me. But you don’t even care about me that much.

Terrifying. However, after the police visit, JP changed his tactics. He was so upset that “the f***ing female dog tried to arrest me” that he told Sierra that he packed up all his wife’s things and threw them away. He told her where to find the bags. The next morning he apologized again. Uh.

And what’s particularly insidious? In later texts he treats her similarly she is the one who has mental problems. This gaslighter is actually trying to convince her to come home and says he wants to have kids with her – but her behavior prevents this phenomenon:

“I also really want to have a baby with you. I’m just afraid of it. That’s the only reason I won’t do it. I’m afraid of divorce or of exposing my child to things that will make you leave and not be willing to do everything necessary.

He also talked about how their marriage was the “greatest” except for his “one bad decision” – which sounds a bit like she caught him cheating. We heard from people who knew him that he was a womanizer, and when she finally divorced him, Mica stated that the reason was infidelity. But of course he took the brunt of it heras if it was her fault that the marriage was in trouble:

“It all started with one bad decision made a month ago in Colombia. If I could go back in time, I would. We had the BEST marriage in the world until that one bad choice. We can continue on this path or we can have an amazing marriage again, the choice is ours.

He actually convinced this woman that there was something wrong with her, something wrong with the way she was reacting to him. Meanwhile, he was completely crazy and terrible. ANYONE would run away and he let her know that she was being irrational. This is real, real gas lighting. And who knows how long it lasted? I mean, if he really took care of her from the age of 14, that was more than half of her life whole life as a woman. And the most annoying part? We know she came back to him then. Because she didn’t file for divorce for the next 11 months.

It’s easy to see why Mika’s family holds this man responsible for her death, even if he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger. What do you think?? You can find the full TikTok post HERE.
